Fixing the “Telerik.WebControls.GridInsertionObject does not contain a property” error
I have been using Telerik ASP.NET AJAX controls on a project and stumbled across an annoying issue with the RadGrid. The issue crops up when attempting to do an insert in the RadGrid after binding to a datasource which does not have any records yet. In my case I was binding to a collection of custom objects.
The actual error which is displayed when you attempt the insert is as follows:
DataBinding: Telerik.Web.UI.GridInsertionObject does not contain a property with the name ‘your field name’.
